Love, that’s what it is all about.
For me scrapbooking is all about love. My love for this papercraft hobby, my family, friends and the everyday memories that I want to capture is what scrapbooking means to me. I put so much of my heart into every single layout that I create.
Even if my layouts are not a "piece of art", I created them to celebrate someone, or something that I love. I also express myself through color, paper and glue
I am always amazed and so inspired by all the talent that I see out there. How these gifted crafters share and communicate their love through this wonderful hobby. How they share little pieces of their lives, and all things that they hold dear.
There would be no need for scrapbooking if it weren't for the people, the places, the pets and the things we want to capture, the memories we treasure and want to keep close to our heart. The layouts that focus on love always make my heart smile.

Digital Supplies: Kits: Poppadilly, Little Artsy Pants Value Collection and Shabby
Wonderful designed by Nicole Young and
August Birthstone designed by Elizabeth Weaver
(Digital Scrapbook Place), Software: Corel PSP X2.
Design Notes:
Our new daughter in law always wanted a fairy tail wedding - and that is
exactly the sort of wedding she and our son had in July 2009.
When I saw the word art in the Little Artsy Pants kit, I knew it
was the perfect choice to go with one of their wedding photos!
After putting the horizontal goodies together on the left side,
the page seemed to lack pizzazz - so I added the cluster to the
top right hand side. I wanted to add a bit a tad more color so I
added a visual vertical line by using a piece of colored,
cropped paper to bring the page all together. I "created" the
darker background by layering Pink Collage background paper from
Little Artsy Pants over the Paisley Blues background from the
Shabby Wonderful kit. I used the "hue" blend mode on the top
layer to create the beautiful turquoise color. I wanted the
background papers to be a bit bolder because there were quite a
few white elements throughout the page.
Journaling: She was quite a bit
sure that this moment was perfectly wonderful.

great for wedding photos, they are kind of " entering the new

using some twine and brads.
