Bunting and Banners

When you are driving through the main street of your town and you look overhead and see bunting stringing from one side of the street to the other, it can’t help but bring the feeling of excitement!!! You know that something special is happening in your town today! Here in Australia, we celebrate Australia Day on 26th January and our town goes all out! We have banners of Australian Flags criss-crossing the street and it’s a real cause for excitement and wonder.

You see bunting & banners everywhere. Take a look around! We are having new telephone poles installed out the back of our house at the moment and there is bring orange bunting everywhere! On the news and tv shows we often see crime scenes surrounded by bunting & banners. When athletes return to their home towns after great athletic triumphs abroad, they are welcomed with bunting & banners.

Buntings and banners in scrapbooking bring the same excitement!! When you look at a page that has bunting & banners featured on it then you know that it is commemorating an important occasion. It’s little wonder than that bunting & banners have made their way into the scrapbooking industry! We love to commemorate important occasions in our lives through our scrapbooking pages. We commemorate the birth of a child, birthdays, important events, celebrations and moments of wonder.
