Sausan Designs

I am really excited to introduce this month's discovery designer, Sylvie from Sausan Designs! With a vivacious, painted and humorous style to many of her products, Sylvie's designs can be used for a variety of arty crafts, not just scrap booking, so let's find out more about this talented artist..

Sylvie began to design back in 2006, (which seems a lifetime ago now), when she was running her own translation business, doing freelance technical translation work. Back then, scrap booking was little known in Germany and Sylvie had no experience of the scrap book industry. However, with a creative streak in her, a love of drawing and a background in fine arts, Sylvie found herself designing and drawing and began to use her pc to combine these talents. Sylvie simply "stumbled" over digital scrap booking and was hooked right away! Shortly after she was offered a home to sell her fun designs and five years later is still designing.

For Sylvie, inspiration lies in everything. It can be websites, colors and patterns of all kind, her children's clothes, flowers, trees or just a song! You can tell from her kits that she is a chaotic lover of colors (in a pleasant way of course), and a lot of hand drawn patterns and doodles. Sylvie says that sometimes a drawing or doodle gets her creative flow started.
