Hi all! My name is Stacey. I am married to a great guy named Steve and we have two children! I have been a special education teacher for over 15 years. When I share my profession with people, they always comment that I must have a lot of patience. I don't, but I do believe that we all have unique and wonderful talents! I love helping my students showcase their gifts, and approach that task with great drive and passion.

My other passion in life is scrapbooking. My addiction to paper and embellishments keeps growing as I create keepsakes for my family. The part I love the most is the journaling, searching for the right title and words. I can remember wanting to be a writer as far back as the second grade. At that time, I penned my first novel, another version of Jaws (and, no, it was not a 3D version). I dreamed of going to Columbia University and becoming a journalist. Although I went in a different direction professionally, I get my writing fix every time I create a layout! There is always a story to tell! I love the idea of using photos and journaling as a therapeutic tool, and use scrapbooking as a means of self-reflection. Scrapbooking is truly my way of finding my center.

My work has been featured in Memory Makers and Scrapbook Trends magazine as well as several idea books. I have the honor of designing for my favorite company, Pink Paislee. A few years ago, I found ScrapStreet and am hooked! The magazine, the boards, and the people are fantastic. I find myself laughing out loud every time I read a post! Did I mention the highly creative and somewhat crazy challenges that have made me think outside the box? I can't wait to continue to learn and be inspired, and maybe inspire others along the way. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of this community! Somebody pinch me!
