These are a Few of My Favorite Things

It’s a funny thing, this hobby called scrapbooking. You spend time with paper and glue, recording your memories. More than likely you are scrapping about your families, friends or pets. How much do you scrap about yourself? Probably not enough. That is about to shift because of a very happy place called These are a Few of My Favorite Things. It is a blog that challenges you to share bits of yourself and document what makes you tick.

As soon as you arrive at the site, you will hear that familiar song by Julie Andrews (everyone hum along…you know you can’t help it). It brings a smile to your face and makes images of favorite foods, past times, and indulgences race through your head. The premise at the blog is brilliant…scrap about all the things you adore. Previous challenges asked you to consider your favorite song, city or TV show. What ends up happening is that you scrap about a wide range of topics, events, places and objects, adding variety to your albums. Scrapbooking can’t get easier than this as each of you can quickly and easily generate ideas for the challenges. After all, you are talking about your favorites.

The current prompt asks you to consider what your favorite shoes are! Not necessarily the first topic you would think of on your own, yet how fun it is once you think about it. Imagine how entertaining it will be to look at your layouts in several years. Check out what the talented design team members came up with!

What being a part of this team means to you: My team is amazing! I don't run a DT like some places. I have no guidelines, no requirements. I want my team to have FUN! I feel if they are pressured to create, then it may not happen! So, I am really laid back with them. I chose each of my team from how they felt to me. I not only wanted talented people, but people with a passion and heart for creating! My girls are amazing! We all support each other, we share each others stories...we are family!
