Creative Inspirations
Everyone knows how hot digital scrapbooking is right now! The industry is alive and well with talented artists and advancing techniques. Interest in that side of the scrappy world led me to a wonderful site aptly titled the Creative Inspirations blog. Whether you are a digital scrapbooker or still adore paper, you will find lots of eye candy with amazing layouts that will surely up your mojo!
Upon visiting, I was immediately sucked in by the beautiful work created by three super talented artists. I adore their use of white space and special touches that make their projects shine! They share information about techniques, cool new fonts and link you to some fabulous digital kits! Tara Leake and Kayleigh Wiles share some additional information about the blog below!
1. What is the overall goal/purpose of this blog?
Before we started the blog, we used to do little challenges between us and we found that people liked what we were doing so we decided we would put a blog together. The purpose of the blog is to have a central spot to share our inspiration with others. Whether the inspiration is in the form of challenges, others people’s work, products or our own pages, we hope scrappers come here often to do our fun little challenges.
2. How have your personal scrapbooking styles or approaches changed since you started the blog?
We found that the blog inspires us to scrap just as much as it probably inspires others to. I'm not sure our styles have changed. All three of us definitely have various styles, which is great. It gives people three different styles to be inspired from. However, Kayleigh is addicted to stitched grids ever since the Try a Stitched Grid Challenge!

What being a part of this team means to you: Being a part of this blog is such a fun way to connect with the amazing people that make up this community of digital scrapbookers. Such a diverse community all pulled together by the same hobby. It is so much fun to see how we can inspire people to join a challenge or lift someone, or just get a page DONE. I feel lucky to be in such great company with Kayleigh and Tara, two amazing scrappers and great friends too! I can't wait to see how we will inspire each other and the rest of the digital community in the new year!!

Journaling: Miss Makenna you are becoming such a sweet and charming baby. You have such a fun personality. You play peekaboo with your blanket, love to attack spencer, are sitting very well on your own, making new noises “dada” and your loud very serious chatter too. You are loving eating cereal and trying new foods too. You sleep alright some nights and other nights are crazy. You are good at falling asleep on your own in your crib for your naps. You are wearing mostly 6-12 months. You weigh 16 lbs 13 oz and you are 69 cm. We love you lots! |
