This month five of our designers, including myself, pulled out their ink pads and clear blocks, and got creative with the most adorable stamps from Whimsy Stamps. If you are not familiar with Whimsy Stamps, you are in for a treat this month because these stamps will just make you giddy!

Whimsy Stamps is a family owned business based out of New Hampshire. Their stamps can be best described as “fun and whimsical”, and made from the highest quality of etched red rubber mounted on EZ Mount foam. Offering a wide array of themes, you too will find that these stamps are easy to use on any project.

This Boy by Pamela Young

Supplies: Paper: Studio Calico, Sassafras Lass, October Afternoon, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Chipboard: Tattered Angels, Making Memories, Alphabet Stickers: October Afternoon, Paint: Scribbles (Duncan), Ink: Unity Stamp Company, Pen: Sharpie, Adhesive: Helmar, Bread Tag: Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, Floss: DMC, Other: fabric, twine. Tools: Stamps: Whimsy Stamps.

Design Notes: Don't be afraid to create your own background with stamps. Here I stamped empty frames over and over again to create my background. And notice, it does not look perfect, some of my frames are crocked...but it doesn't matter!

Journaling: This boy is such a ham. He is constantly staging photos for me to take!

Summer Day Emma by Pamela Young

Supplies: Paper: Jillibean Soup, Lace Cardstock: Making Memories, Flower, Pearls: Prima Marketing, Lace: Offray, Glitter: Scribbles (Duncan), Ink, Colored Pencils: Stampin' Up!. Tools: Stamp: Whimsy Stamps.

Design Notes: I haven't used markers for coloring in like most stampers seem to do. I like to just use my colored pencils. And I love to add a bit of glitter to my stamped images.

Thank You by Pamela Young

Supplies: Paper: The Girls' Paperie, Sassafras Lass, Cardstock: American Crafts, Ink: Stampin' Up!, Floss: DMC. Tools: Stamp: Whimsy Stamps.

Design Notes: Try cutting off the bottom of the front of your card and layering a border behind it...I do this a lot!
