Bella BLVD

I love the plethora of options that exist for scrappers in today's market.  Some of you long time scrappers remember when stores were filled with roll after roll of stickers and a few stacks of paper options.  Now, we have so much more to choose from--and I love them all for different reasons.

As with every scrapper, I play favorites.  Some companies I might use once a year or gravitate towards one line.  Some I buy because I love what others do with them and then struggle to use them.  Others I actually have to buy twice because I use every bit.  Bella BLVD quickly became one of my go to companies.  I feel happy (and mojo) just pulling out their incredible items.

Because I survived the cutesy sticker years, I moved away from anything that felt like a theme in favor of being "artistic" for a while.  And then I raced back to what I love--strong colors, interesting patterns, coordinating elements, and, yes, stickers.  I stopped trying to make scrapbooking harder and embraced my simple style through use of well designed manufacturing lines just like Bella BLVD.

As I sat sorting the lines and deciding which lucky team member would scrap with each one, I noticed that I could happily scrap with Bella BLVD all year long.  As the seasons change, my mood and photos change along with them--and so do the products Bella BLVD offers.  Take a walk through a whole year of scrapping with our team and the fabulous designers behind Bella BLVD!

Little Black Suit by Dora Phillips

Supplies: Paper, Stickers: Bella Blvd, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: Bella Blvd, Jillibean Soup, Bling: Heidi Swapp, Font: Snap, Other: thread. Tools: Punch: Fiskars, Sewing Machine: Brother.

Design Notes: I loved the big dress and could not wait to grab my scissors and cut it out. It made the perfect jumping off point for the page.

Journaling: You did not want a fabulous new party dress. Not my girl. You wore pants, vest, and attitude. Your sense of style is just exactly you. And you rock it!

Just One Sip by Dora Phillips

Supplies: Paper, Stickers,: Bella Blvd, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Pin: Heidi Grace, Font: Traveling Typewriter, Other: glitter, thread. Tools: Punch: Fiskars, Sewing Machine: Brother.

Design Notes: To make the title, I used the leftover sheet from the letter stickers. I trimmed them closely and stuck them to some Bella paper for a fun outlined title.

Journaling: Just one little sip is what you said. But after a taste, you downed every drop.

Let Her Eat Cake by Dora Phillips

Supplies: Paper, Stickers: Bella Blvd, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: Bella Blvd, Flower: Making Memories, Bling: Heidi Swapp, Other: thread. Tools: Punch: Fiskars, Sewing Machine: Brother.

Design Notes: I mixed three different Bella Blvd alphabet stickers to create my separated title. Since they are all part of the same line, they work perfectly together.
