Make Those Scraps New Again
One thing that I’ve learned from these designers is that you can’t go wrong with scraps! Scraps can be used in a variety of ways such as borders, fun frames, grids, circles, die cut embellishments and much more.
This month, challenge yourself to use your scraps rather than buying new supplies! Why not save a few dollars and make those old scraps new again! Until next time, have fun looking through your scraps!

Vi 2 (Us 2) by Jenny Linden

no patterned papers I used a mix of stamps, painted lines and water color splatters.

A Walk to Remember by Lady Grace Belarmino
Supplies: Paper: Sassafrass Lass, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: American Crafts, Alphabet Stickers, Stickers: Sassafrass Lass, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Brads: Kaisercraft, Liquid Pearls: Ranger.
Tools: Electronic Die Cut Machine: Silhouette, Punches, Border Punches: EK Success.
Design Notes: I made use of negative space on this layout.
Everything was centered to illuminate balance and precision. It is very easy to do, just layer everything together starting from the huge materials to the smallest and you're done. I was inspired by sketch #200 by Pencil Lines and used the sketch to create my layout.

Friends by Kat Poole
Supplies: Paper: American Crafts, BasicGrey, Bella Blvd, Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Paper Source, Prima Marketing, Sassafras, We R Memory Keepers, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Adhesive Frames: K & Company, Paper Borders: Doodlebug Design, Buttons: Buttons Galore & More. Tools: Label Maker: DYMO.
Design Notes: I have a scrap bin that is as big as me (and that is only a slight exaggeration), so I love to find ways to use up my scraps. Throwing them down on the page haphazardly and adding a few tiny embellishments for interest is as good a way as any to tackle the scrap bin!
