Welcome to Digital Discovery! This month we’re featuring digital artist Rachel Stiverson, aka RealRach. Rachel has apparently been catching the eye of many in the digi world, so we’re more than pleased to feature her!
Rachel’s designs are so sweet and serene, it seems like she scraps without abandon. Her careful combination of lines – straight and not so! – keep the eye wandering and the heart happy. I suppose there is a bit of whimsy in her work, but the dreams and hearts captured in her work could easily be framed as well. Actually, some really are!
Pay close attention to Rachel’s choice of sweet, summery colors and designs. Each color represents a mood, emotion or nostalgic moment. Her design supports that in every way, plus it adds the extra magic that brings those photographic memories to life.
Congratulations, Rachel! We enjoyed working with you immensely and wish you the best possible digital future.

Last Day by Rachel Stiverson
Digital Supplies: Song Sung Blue Kit by Krystal Hartley (SweetShoppeDesigns), Font: Comic Sans MS.
Design Notes: I chose this kit for the photo because the colors remind me of summer and the elements represented a backyard with the fence, flowers, and butterfly - this is where we spend lots of time now that school is out! Hurray for summer vacation!

Design Notes: I love using flowers on my layouts and this kit was perfect for the photo. It really pops against the colors of the flowers and elements.
