September is a month, that for many of us with school age children, say goodbye to our lazy summer days, and trade those in for busy schedules, late nights filled with homework, and what seems like one hundred never ending things on our to do lists.

With the kids heading back to school, I find myself reaching for those reds, blacks, yellows, and greens to scrap with. I also find myself inspired by plaids, apples, pencils, and other cute little school symbols.

Lucky for me, I know just how to put my inspiration to good use! How many of us will be in need of a special card or two for our teachers, principal or perhaps the bus driver this year? So why not, while the inspiration is "hot", create those cards you know you will be reaching for later in the year?
