Anyone who says the words "just a pet" doesn't have one. Our pets bring us so much joy, they become part of our families. It is only natural to give them their own place of honor in our scrapbooks. Pets offer as many interesting layout options as our families do. They have personalities, habits, toys, activities, and dozens of other layouts waiting to be created. Have you documented your pet's special moments? If not, what are you waiting for?

Mr. Personality by: Deanna Kroll
Supplies: Papers: Pebbles Inc., Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Creative Memories, Tag: Li'l Davis Designs, Chipboard, Brackets: Pebbles Inc., Brads, Sequin: Queen and Co., Paint: Making Memories, Shimmerz Spritz, Word Art: Taylor Made Designs, Ink: Tsukineko, Font: Desyrl.
Design Notes: I painted the sticker brackets in orange and also the brads so that they color coordinated with my page better. After the paint was dry, I used my Mod Podge to set the color so that it wouldn't scrape off. I also used my Shimmerz Spritz in the color Truffle, so that it came close to the brown color of the chipboard, had to give the chipboard element some extra shimmer.
Journaling: Ever since Isaac has entered my and Gavin's life, every single day has been filled with a new and exciting experience. He has stole my heart with his puppy dog eyes that he looks at me with, especially when he looks at me with his head on the arm of the sofa, gets me every time!) and the sweet puppy kisses. He has shown me how much he loves and adores both me and Gavin. He is such a good dog with Gavin, tolerating the never ending play sessions that Gavin wants from him. Isaac has filled the hole in my heart that has been there when Gavin is by his dad's house. He is full of personality, and has forever found a place in my heart, my home and Gavin's! 8/6/09

He waits...3:24 by Lori Carlson
Supplies: Papers: Cosmo Cricket, Making Memories, Sassafrass Lass, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Cardstock Stickers, Fabric Brad, Blossoms: Sassafrass Lass, Paint: Making Memories, Ink: Ranger, Alpha: American Crafts, Fabric: Jo-Ann, Punches: Martha Stewart Crafts, EK Success, Pen: ZIG, Other: vintage ric rac, gold bond stamp.
Design Notes: The layout is 12x12 and the photo is 3x6. I cut the photo to create a sense of minimal space, under the garage door. Machine stitching, finger painting and inking are all very simple. I love the feeling of the design, I wanted to create a sense you were there with him. I love the randomness and texture of the design. To me it just feels like him.
Journaling: Her bus arrives at 3:24 he waits most days with love, patience, and more love.. "How could she not take him with her to school?" Toby still wonders, while he waits with love....

Cookie Bear by Kristin K Stock
Digital Supplies: This Sweet Life Kit, Grab Bag Kit by Ilona Halverson (Scrap Outside the Box).
Design Notes: This is my cat, McCook. Who is VERY spolied and loves to "help" me. This is her "helping" me weed my flowers ... I love the minimal look of this because I wanted to put all the focus on her picture. This is for my album of our pets that I keep.
