Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s a time when people of all ages, big and small, can dress up and pretend to be whatever they would like to be. You can go from being a regular person one minute to a crime fighting super heroine the next minute. Whatever you decide to be for Halloween, don’t forget the most important accessory to your costume – a camera. Make sure to snap a few pictures of the people around you and do not forget to include some pictures of yourself during this fun-filled night.

Our Little Pumpkin by Katie Hyser
Digital Supplies: Letters from Sketchy Alpha by Erica Hernandez, Frames from Feb 365 Kit, Background Paper from July 365 Kit, Orange Paper from Playground Kit, all by Crystal Wilkerson, Tag from Blank Safety Tags, Paint from Touch Up Paint, Ribbon from Pinned Tabs No. 2, Canvas Mask by Canvas Tag Masks, all by Katie Pertiet, Fonts: Bosshole, Century Gothic.
Design Notes: The canvas ribbon was so easy to create using Katie Pertiet's Canvas Mask. You just select the paper to go over the mask and clip it to the mask. Then I lowered the opacity on the layer to get lots of the nice canvas detail.
Journaling: We had so much fun taking pictures of you with the pumpkins
during our visit to Nana and Granddad's. It was a good thing we had the cute little pumpkin sack and hat for you, since you aren't used to the chilly weather!

1st Halloween Incognito by Brianne Nevill
Supplies: Papers: Teresa Collins, BasicGrey, We R Memory Keepers, Doodlebug Design, Die Cuts With A View, KI Memories, Stickers: Prima Marketing, Making Memories, Die-Cuts: K & Company, Making Memories, Pen: American Crafts, Ink: Clearsnap, Font: CK Good Day, Other: cardboard.
Design Notes: I really wanted to put this layout on kraft paper but I was all out. I found this piece of cardboard and it had the same effect! I also loved the lined paper for the journaling but all I had left was a smaller scrap piece. To make sure that it went through the printer correctly, I adhered it to a piece of cardstock for durability and sent it through.
Journaling: Halloween 2008 was our first real holiday without Daddy home. He was away in Texas for training but we had met up with him in Lubbock a week or two before Halloween. Daddy helped you pick out your Power Ranger costume and you were SO excited about wearing it! Every day after daycare you would ask me if you could wear it yet and finally when the day came, you were jumping up and down, trying to be as patient as a 2 year old could while waiting for the trick or treating to start on post. You ran from house to house, never tiring, eagerly filling up your bucket. There were a few scary decorations outside and on those houses you refused to walk up to the door. The end of the trip was perfect as we came upon the Fort Sill Fire Department handing out candy near Engine One. Hopefully we won't experience too many more Halloween's without Daddy, but we will sure document them the best we can.

Halloween 08 by Pamela Young
Supplies: Papers, Stickers, Ribbon: Creative Imaginations, Paint: Scribbles, Thread: Prism.
Design Notes: After I painted the windows of the house, it made the house stand out a lot more. This page was designed to be the first of my Halloween pages for that year, almost like a title page.
