Reminisce
Boo! Did I scare you? No? Well, don’t worry we have a SPOOK-ta-cular Showroom to share with you this month! This month we teamed up with Reminisce and were privileged to create projects with one of their newest releases from this past summer CHA – their Halloween Collection.
If you have never had the privilege to create with Reminisce products, you are in for a treat! Matt and Andria Gibson, the owners of Reminisce have you covered when it comes to “theme” scrapbooking! They currently sell scrapbooking lines that range from the most popular holiday’s to the perfect papers to compliment the most rough and tumble little boy (and of course everything in between).
Reminisce started out as a retail store in February 2002, “combining Andria’s creative passion with Matt’s marketing expertise they found their self’s with one of the best Scrapbooking stores in the Midwest!”. Within the first year of operation, they found through listening closely to their customers that the industry was lacking much of what their customers were looking for. Armed with this knowledge and two talented graphic artists in July of 2003 their manufacturing side of their business was born.

Turn Wheels Turn by Dora Phillips
Supplies: Papers, Stickers: Reminisce, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Chipboard: Maya Road, Letters: Reminisce, Pink Paislee, Font: Mom Handwriting, Other: Buttons.
Design Notes: Want to make letter stickers pop? Use the edging around your pop darts to cut into strips and lift those letters. The extra dimension gives an inexpensive supply an expensive look.
Journaling: Where are you in that imagination, Zack? I turn around and there you are looking off into the distance with a huge smile on your face. What is going on in there? Are you battling pirates? Racing up a volcano in a red sports car? Flying to the moon? Any or all of the above could be possible. Your favorite part of first grade is writing workshop when you are encouraged to tell a story and illustrate it. In three weeks
of school, you are already on your fifth story and not slowing down. I can't wait to read the story you are brewing up today. It looks like it's going to be a great one!

The Great Outdoors by Jenn Keefer
Supplies: Papers, Stickers: Reminisce, Other: Bling.
Design Notes: When I first saw the orange Reminisce papers I knew they would be perfect for this set of pictures. Because the photos were going different ways and at different angles I opted to layer them a bit and fill the white space with paper. I added a few die stickers and journaling spot to finish it off.
Journaling: What is there for a boy to do while his brother is training for 2 hours? Explore, of course. You had so much fun and I enjoyed watching you and taking pictures along the way. May 2009 |
