Nicole was a total rebel when she took this design on it's side and shifted the weight of the frame to the right side of the page. Keeping it simple was a goal for Linda, as your attention goes immediately to the sentiment despite the very busy patterned paper in the backround.

Framed Card Sketch by Michelle McClung
Digital Supplies: Ribbon: Berry Days Kit by Kate Teague (Two Peas in a Bucket), Software: Adobe Photoshop Elements, Font: Script.
Design Notes: Simple or elaborate, the framed sentiment on this card will surely be eye catching for the recipient.

Fall Card by Nicole Martel
Supplies: Papers, Tags: Pink Paislee, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Flowers, Brad: Making Memories.
Editor's Notes: I love the way Nicole interpreted this sketch. She turned the design on its side and instead of centering the frame, she put it on the right side. Love that the sentiment is in a circle and the flowers are in the center too!

Panel Card Sketch by Michelle McClung
Digital Supplies: Papers, Ribbon: Old Glories Kit by Hand Maid Designs (ScrapStreet), Software: Adobe Photoshop Elements, Font: Pickwick.
Design Notes: I thought breaking up the patterned paper and matting it on cardstock, would add an element of creativity yet still be a simple process for making this card.

Thinking Of You by Lynda Lindley
Supplies: Papers: Teresa Collins, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Ink: Clearsnap, Other: ball trim.
Editor's Notes: The circles from the ball trim broke up all of the straight lines in the design, making it a little more interesting. |
