“How many times have you noticed that it’s the little quiet moments in the midst of life that seem to give the rest extra-special meaning?” – Mister Rogers
Would you agree that the quiet moments in your life are the most special times in your life? I never understood it until I met my best friend Michelle. You know you have a true best friend when you can be in the car together for a few hours and not feel the need to say anything; you can enjoy just being together with no expectations.
I just love Kerryn’s layout “Follow the leader”. I loved this layout the moment I saw it because you can feel the peace that this layout brings. I can totally visualize the two children walking and exploring their quiet surroundings with a hint of curiosity.

Follow the leader by Kerryn Lawson
Supplies:
Paper, Alphabet Stickers, Rub-Ons, Flowers, Die Cuts, Tags, Transparency, Pearls, Stamp: Kaisercraft, Ink: Staz-On (Tsukineko), Other:
paper doily. Tools: Border Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts.
Design Notes:
The range I was working with was full of neutral tones. I didn’t want to
distract from that but wanted to add a little kick of colour. I included a smattering of green to help the eye travel around the page without overpowering the subtle neutral tones of the papers and other embellishments.

Journaling:
While we were at an engagement party, Edward grabbed Pete's hand to walk
across the room to where his tiger was lying on the diaper bag.
He picks it up with one hand and while holding daddy's hand
since he can't walk on his own yet, walks back to the middle of
the room, drops his tiger and lays right on it. He wanted his
nap and he was getting it no matter what!
