TaDa Creative Studios

We are so happy this month to feature TaDa Creative Studios. This fun and whimsical paper line is the combined “artistic and graphic talents” of Mary Sabo and Annette Meklus. I have to say that the quoted text from their website is most certainly true. The first time I ever viewed the playful designs of TaDa, I immediately began to imagine colorful layouts that would include memories from childhood and trips from years past.

Grab your favorite beverage and take a look at the different styles and uses of these papers by our designers.

Sweet Boy by Dora Phillips

Supplies: Paper, Cardstock, Die Cuts: TaDa Creative Studios, Alphabet: American Crafts, My Little Shoebox, Bling: Heidi Swapp, Font: Traveling Typewriter. Tools: Punch: Fiskars.

Design Notes: Print your photos and journaling all together for a quick and easy page.

Journaling: The taffy apple bar gave you a chance to pick whatever toppings you desired for your caramel apple. You chose everything! It took you three bites to even get to the apple beneath all of that sugary goodness. I have to give you credit, buddy. You kept on fighting until you made it to the center of your taffy apple treat. I do have to disagree when you tried to call it a healthy snack, though.

Trees by Diana Brodeur

Supplies: Paper: TaDa Creative Studios, Alphabet Stickers: October Afternoon, Pen: Creative Memories. Tools: Punch: EK Success.

Design Notes: To add texture to a border, scrunch up the paper before adhering it to your layout.

Journaling: Aryanna and Jaina enjoying decorating and eating their waffle christmas trees.

Beauty by Nicole Martel

Supplies: Papers: TaDa Creative Studios, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: American Crafts, Brad: Queen & Co, Bling: Kaisercraft, Baker’s Twine: Jillibean Soup, Pen: Uni-ball. Tools: Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts.

Design Notes: Wrap your die-cut with baker’s twine to dress it up a bit.
