Rainy Day Projects

April showers bring May flowers…that’s what this month’s projects are all about!! Rainy day themes can be created in such a variety of different ways. Using color is a fantastic way to convey a feeling. Soft grayish blues can make you want to curl up in a corner and read a good book, bright reds and oranges will give you a smile and spark some energy, and yellows will just fill your heart full of cheer. All of these colors can be added to your rainy day themed projects to match the feeling you would like to convey and to coordinate with your photos.

Fun In The Rain by Larissa Albernaz

Design Notes: To create my layout I just designed with some cut outs while recreating an adorable childish world full of turtles, clouds, umbrellas, butterflies, and happiness.

Journaling: Whoever says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain. We know that life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass and each raindrop has a story to tell.

Design Notes: To create whimsy and interest, I added the doodles over the smaller photo. I also offset the layered papers to pull in all the colors in the layout.
