“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” -Confucius
A layout does not need to have heaps of embellishments or patterned papers to look stunning. Sometimes all it takes are a select few items and an eye catching design. You can find this with the graphic scrapbooking style.
A layout created in the graphic scrapbooking style is very easy to spot. Sometimes this style can be confused with the simple scrapbooking style due to both styles containing a clean and crisp design. The main difference between the two styles is that the graphic style has more defined, straight-edged lines in the form of geometric shapes such as circles, squares, and rectangles. These layouts also have a lot of white space and bold titles as some of their main page elements.

the brad border.

Don't Cook by Megan Aaron
Supplies:
Paper: G.C.D .Studios, My Mind's Eye, Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Alphabet: Jillibean Soup, Alphabet Stickers: American Crafts, Pens: Copic, Software: Photoshop, Other: sewing machine.
Design Notes:
I love the clean look of straight squares, but I always find myself nit picking the finished grid, judging that they don't line up absolutely perfect. My solution? Zig Zag stitching! It covers a multitude of sins!
Journaling:
Yep, It's true, I don't cook. It's not that I can't cook, it's that I don't
want to. I used to cook and bake and actually enjoy it. Then I
found scrapbooking, and went back to work. Now, I just do not
have time. I'd rather spend those precious moments playing with
Ellie, or scrapping, or working out. I'm lucky that Seth is a
good cook, so either he does it, or we go out. Takeout is big
here too!
