Gone...But Not Forgotten!
There are times I just want to revisit and bring out the old stuff. You know the ones, the companies that made great scrapbooking paper, but are no longer in business. Some of my all time favorites are Scenic Route, Daisy D's, Cherry Arte, Foof-a-la, Chatterbox and Sassafras Lass. Did I name any of your favorites? If I did, you are in luck. The next three layouts are beautiful examples of old paper products mixed with the new , and wahhla, it works!!! Fabulous pairing of mixing the old and new. The exciting news is that Jenni Bowlin Studio, October Afternoon, Maya Road, Little Yellow Bicycle, and Fiskars are still in business and coming out with new goodies all the time!!

Journaling: This little girl was told she wasn’t smart or pretty. I wish this little girl knew then what an amazing, giving, caring, smart, beautiful woman she would become. From a young age, I noticed that you paid attention to how you dressed. I watched you put on make-up and I loved trying on your shoes. I always thought you were smart and beautiful and I hope you can see that now. Photo circa 1946.

Design Notes: I love journal tags and journal stickers, but I tend to use one and then not the rest that come in the set. I decided to make this layout using various tags and stickers that I have had laying around! I wanted to share all the different things I feel about my daughter!
