Basic Black

One of the first things I notice when I look at Bev’s page is the glittery swirls and flowers. Just like with the little black dress, a little bling can go a long way and it makes the page shine! The slight coloring in her photo also adds pizzazz to her page!
Different textures provide interest to a page when the primary color is black. Digital stamps, paper like elements and ribbon were used on the page I created. I applied a slight sepia tone to the large background photo to give the page a hint of color, yet keeping the overall feel of the page monochrome.

Notes:
This page was made with a STASH Challenge in mind. Use as much stash as you could. I used a monochromatic theme which made it easy to come up with lots of different patterns and prints in same colour palette eg. black, gray, white with a touch of silver and glitter.
Journaling:
This is a photo from the front porch of the cottage looking out over the lake at sunset. It was beautiful. This is the families favourite place to be in the summer together.
