Once upon a time, it was believed that the Earth was flat.  Once upon a time, scrapbooking was believed to be a flat hobby.  Both turned out to not be true.

Scrapbooking is an often changing art form encompassing so many different styles and mediums.  Manufacturers make intriguing new products that add new textures and layers to creations.  Designers choose to bring interesting elements from all different areas of their lives to layouts.  The result of combining these interesting embellishments with dimensional adhesive are layouts that POP!

My Heart and Soul by Natasha Naranjo Aguirre

Supplies: Paper: BoBunny Press, Corrugated Board: Zutter, Chipboard: The Dusty Attic, Metal: Advantus, Ribbon: Advantus, Grungeboard, Embossing Powder: Ranger Industries, Ink: Clearsnap, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Other: eyelets.  Tools: Punches: EK Success, Fiskars, Hole Punch: We R Memory Keepers.

Design Notes: To create dimension on my layout, I use a variety of adhesives (foam squares, glue dots, etc.) to layer my papers and embellishments.

Imagine by Kim Sonksen

Supplies: Papers: Donna Salazar for GCD Studios, Mists: Donna Salazar for Clearsnap, Inks: Clearsnap, Tag: Rusty Pickle, Pens: ProMarkers, Adhesive: Helmar Zap Dots, Clock: Dollar Store.

Design Notes: To add more interest to the clock, I added a layered star flower to the tag to make it "pop" from the background.
